Community Guidelines TL;DR

To maintain an enjoyable and educational community experience, we ask community members to read and adhere to a set of guidelines. The rules are simple - as the community scales, we want to continue to prioritize high-quality conversations and learning.

Community purpose

Build the future of Product-Led Sales together by sharing best practices, advice, and frameworks that power the modern GTM.

Community values

Pocus Community Values

☺️ Be kind and respectful

Help us keep this community inclusive and welcoming to all. Take a few minutes out of the week to greet a new member, respond to that DM notification, and offer your expertise.

🎧 Be present

No one likes lurkers, but we get it, life gets busy, and you forget to check in. We encourage everyone to log in at least once per week to check-in, answer questions, ask questions, or find other ways to engage with the community.

🔑 Deliver value first

Don’t just be a taker :) Give a little and get a little. Strive to add more value than you take. We all have valuable advice to offer, so find opportunities to do so regularly.

How? Answer a question in #ask-a-question, post a helpful article you read in #good-reads, ask a question you know others might be interested in, refer a friend who could add to the discussion, raise your hand in AMAs, etc.

🙅‍♀️ Help don’t sell

The first rule of Product-Led Sales is also the first rule of the community. Always be helpful, and never be spammy. This is not a channel for your marketing efforts - absolutely no lead generation or solicitation is allowed.

If you receive a solicitation without your permission, let the admins know immediately.

How to participate in Slack

The Pocus PLS slack is where the community learns and connects with each other. To make it easy for everyone to get the most out of this community, below are some rules of engagement to follow…

Put effort into your questions: the Pocus PLS community is full of knowledgeable GTM leaders. But, we can’t help unless you provide context that makes it easy to craft a response. Everyone in the community is sharing their time and expertise for free, so help us help you. A thoughtful and well-researched question will help everyone!

💡Tip for thoughtful questions: Include any relevant context someone might need to answer your question like your company size, industry, your role, etc.
